But Tech is a monster, and he consistently puts out good albums at a high rate of speed and always goes hard.

His last few EPs are kinda forgettable imo, but I've never been disappointed with his studio albums.

Well then my comment still stands. Em's albums are better than anything Tech has made. Doesn't mean Tech isn't good, just Em is better and has a different work ethic. I don't see why Tech is being a bitch about it.

Em has more than 3 albums. I'm saying Tech is more consistent, but Em at his best > Tech at his best.

I think Em actually looks more inconsistent than he is though... due to the fact he came out the gate with three classics in a row. Many great rappers / artists make a classic initial album, then plenty of good-decent ones, then another classic etc. so it's more spread out...

But he went - CLASSIC, CLASSIC, CLASSIC... so when you get Encore, it feels like a major 360 flip and shocking drop, it's like COCAINE, COCAINE, COCAINE.. DEPRESSION!

Where as, when you actually look at it, he's only really had one bad album...

Infinite - good
SSLP - classic
MMLP - classic
TES - classic
Encore - bad/mixed bag
Relapse - shit to some, amazing to some, near-classic to me, let's settle on 'decent'
Recovery - decent, with some amazing high-points...

Where as if he had went like... classic, decent, decent, classic etc.

He would feel more consistent. But when you look at it; he is really.

I prefer hearing Em on beats that were on The Eminem Show than dark or would rather him use beats with a heavy soul/blues/jazz style than dark.
