soon after the 8th studio album drops recovery will go 5 x platinum. EPIC

it won't go 5x platinum, not in this decade at least (IMO)

I definitely don't think it will take that long.

It sold 200k last last year. If it can sell another 200k-300k this year and and another 100k every year from now(unlikely) it will take 4-5 years to reach 5x platinum. That's still a pretty generous estimation.

The RIAA(the organization that certifies singles and albums in the U.S) has now added Digital Streaming to their certifications.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry’s premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P’s Digital Single Award certification.

So far the only song they've re-certified is Love the Way you Lie, which is now x11 platnium. It's also now the second most certified song in U.S history behind Justin Bieber's Baby which is x12 platinum( )

The ratio is 100 streams= 1 sale.

So based on just Vevo Views:

Not Afraid can get an additional x4 platinum to it's certification bringing it to x9 platinum since it's very close to having sold 5 million copies.

Beautiful can be certified x2 platinum since it's Gold already and has 150million views.

No love can be certified x2 platinum since it's platinum already and has over 100million views.

When I'm Gone can be certified x2 platinum since I think it's sold 1 million copies, and it has 132million views.

I'm not sure about the sales of Without Me and Like Toy Soldiers, but based on views alone they can both be certified platinum since they both have 100 million views.

Space Bound can be certified platinum since it's gold already, and has 86million views.

I told you last week that 2Pac’s 1998 album Greatest Hits topped the 5 million mark in sales. I might have added that it’s the best-selling greatest hits album in hip-hop history.

Eminem’s 2005 album Curtain Call: The Hits is in second place, with sales of 3,710,000.

The two artists are in reverse order on the list of best-selling rappers in Nielsen SoundScan history.

Eminem is #1, with sales of 42,183,000.

2Pac is second with 28,962,000.
