Because the last thing any of his fans would expect is a Christian album, it's just something I cannot see being popular. Everyone would be all "Eminem's gone soft as hell".

Is there any part of you that truly believes Eminem would make an album about his born again Christianity? I'm sure he knows that wouldn't go over well with the majority of his fans.

he has been refrencing God recentley in a few verses like on my life and the bridge he did on the slaughterhouse album.

The guy has been referencing God here and there since Infinite. And the rumor is false--Paul denied it. It wasn't believable in the first place.

That is true he has been actually doing that here and there from the start. I think he is more spiritual now though. From my understanding he has always been a christian, came from a christian family but wasn't deep into it. But he started to wear the crucifix cross around 2009. Did Paul deny that he is born again or did he deny the album theme will be this?

It still wouldn't be a Christian album. Songs might reference his Christianity, but it wont be a whole album.

:worship:
I can rap that entire song. And I almost always ejaculate when he gets to that "succumb/scum" scheme.
But to respond to BlueberryWun....he's been referencing God throughout his entire career so that's irrelevant. He's NOT going to drop a Christian album.

I never expected a christian album per say i also don't think anyone who heard these rumors did in the sense of him rapping about the bible, rapping about how people who are not christian should become 1, rappin about moses, mary etc. More so i could see him doing an album about praising God in a more general way like DMX does for example. Em has had sensitive songs all the way from his first album so disagree with that alot of them tend to be a lotta his fans fave too. Spirituality is also very important in Hip Hop some of the toughest rappers like DMX, 50 Cent, 2pac have never been ashamed of their beliefs and unlike Em DMX and 50 lived a certain lifestyle in the street where as Em wasn't ever a street dude like that.

I think majority of his fans are christian though or come from a backround where they believe in god at the very least. It wouldn't be everyone cup of tea hearing that especially an athiest like you but just speaking generally i think most would be excited as long as the quality of the music is good. Those of his fans who are christian or even those who believe in God but follow another religion even i am sure would appreciate hearing this.

I can safely say that a lot of my heavily Christian friends wouldn't even want an album with too much Christian or god related subject matter on it. A mention here or there they'd probably be fine with because he's always done that.

I read that rumor about EM,sure hope it aint true.If he comes with some God or born again Christian shit i aint gonna buy it.I will be super disappointed if that was the case.Thats the last thing i wanna hear from him.

Hope he comes with some dark stuff but i doubt he will,im afraid he will come with some soft shit.

Hope he has alot of Dre beats on it and that he does his own hooks and not sample alot of stuff like he did on Recovery, half the albums hooks was done by someone else, that was disappointing.
And i hope he has a some real features on it,Kendrick, maybe Jay z or Tyler. No rihanna or pink.
Cry babies, maybe my way that i use words is loose
but you turds better be careful how you choose yours
Cause feelings scar, but egos bruise worse
And the truth hurts, shit no wonder youre sore losers

As a Christian I never take seriously rappers talking about God in their songs... I mean rappers who are either on gang related shit or shock value all over the place like in the cases with X & Em respectively.

X is way outta the picture as a feat. anyway though... Dude's not well at all. I hope he's gonna get it together.

yeah but the point of being an artist is to make music the artist likes. yall niggas talk about how yall like Em making his own music so if hes diggin the christian shit then let him do it.

Agreed with this an artist should always do what he or she feels they want to write about. But i can't see the argument that his fans would in any form dislike it if he did. I think as long as the music is good it would actually be enjoyed

That is just entertainment though. You can't judge a small portion of DMX or Em's music. Especially since a core principle is that everyone is a sinner and that is what Jesus died for.
