Yeah. Eminem's favorite song on TMR is Catfish Billy. And I'm pretty sure he heard the mixtape and I think hearing Yelawolf saying "fuck compromising" inspired him.

What Pop star was there on Recovery? because Rihanna is RnB which means Rhytham & Blues as soulful as other RnB singers? not by any means but non the less her genre is RnB.

Oh i forgot about Pink her genre of music is pop but Rihanna i would just say is RnB i also think she would describe her music as RnB. Also even for arguments sake if we can say Rihanna does pop as well as RnB the chorus she delivered on LTWYL was a very RnB/soulful influenced type of chorus. People like BRitney Spears, Nysync, Backstreat Boys etc come under the pop genre.

At the same time Rihanna would argue putting her in the pop genre is ignorant the same way some put Em in the pop category because of My Name Is, Real Slim Shady, Without Me. Rihanna is popular yes but Eminem is even more popular both both have specfic genres hers being RnB, his being Hip Hop.

I don't think attitude is a factor in what genre your style of singing comes under. I think regardless of attitude as far as based on music, singing style strictly Nysync's genre is pop, Mary J Blige Is RnB/Soul, Bob Marley is Reggae. I think often atleast on here people tend to confuss the genre of pop and being commercially popular. Now i can see why let's assume i dunno R.A. The Rugged Man or Rakim fans being upset about them collaberting with anyone who is popular in the slighest but with Em he is so diverse he has a gift to make commercial records himself.

Quality of music should always come before image though. I don't want to particularly see a pop, RnB, country whatever genre it may be singer feature on Em's album because i wanna hear all Em choruses because he so good at that aspect. But Eminem fans i wouldn't say generally but some do want him to be completley withdrawn tho like Justin Timberlake just collabed with Jay Z but Jay Z fans even a minority did not give him flack for collabing with an Nysync member. A countless amount of rappers have collabed with Rihanna yet not even a minority of fans of these rappers complained or even actually labeled Rihanna as pop.
