Are you doing any cardio to actually trim down on fat? If not, the muscle is probably pushing any of the fat you have forward.

I was thinking that that might be the reason but there's no weight gain so am I burning fat or turning it into muscle (glycogen)? I'm confused as to how would I build muscle if I don't gain weight
