Not Afraid is great as a lead single but as a song it's nothing special. So what if it's got substance.

the hook on not afraid was special and the way he was flowing, his delivery. It's what you call an all round complete song. Even the bridge was fire on it. It's basically it's around package is why it was such a big number 1 hit.

TRSS took over... it was a wrap all the way after it but Without me took from where it left off.

Lose yourself murdered everything though... just that it wasn't on a solo album.

It's tight between My Name is and TRSS

IMHO the two go hand in hand together. You can't have the latter without the genius of the first, however TRSS is easily the best rap single ever made. The rhyming, the jokes, the humour, the relevance, the hook; everything about it is flawless. The last verse is one of his best verses of all time. Period.

However, My Name Is is just pure genius. It captures Eminem's natural ability to write an almost flawless piece of hip-hop, with great humour and wacky punchlines, whilst still being a pop-single for everything to rap to or sing in their heads. And at the end of the day, both tracks are technically brilliant too.

Without Me deserves recommendation as well (completing the two), but these two are just sublime.
I do love Without Me.
