Is it this?

XXL rates albums from "S" (poor) to "XXL" (classic). Editors have initially awarded XXL status to only nine albums:

The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill by Lauryn Hill
The Blueprint by Jay-Z
Get Rich or Die Tryin' by 50 Cent
Be by Common
Late Registration by Kanye West
Hell Hath No Fury by Clipse
My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy by Kanye West
Life Is Good by Nas
good kid, m.A.A.d city by Kendrick Lamar

A later issue in December 2007 re-rated and retroactively rated some albums and gave XXLs to:[9]

The Chronic by Dr. Dre
Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) by Wu-Tang Clan
Illmatic by Nas
The Diary by Scarface
The Infamous by Mobb Deep
All Eyez on Me by 2Pac
Reasonable Doubt by Jay-Z
The Don Killuminati: The 7 Day Theory by 2Pac
Life After Death by The Notorious B.I.G.
2001 by Dr. Dre
The Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem
The Lost Tapes by Nas
The College Dropout by Kanye West
Em&Tech&Fif&Banks&Kanye&Bobby&Yela.

3 Kanye albums and only 1 Em? oh gimmie a break.

I'd argue MMLP and TES are 5 mic'ers, but I could even accept just MMLP...

But to name College Dropout and Late Reg 5... and not them? That's bull. How the fuck is College Dropout a 5 mic'er lmao... some nice sampling and some okay middle-class raps, yeah wow.

Does it really matter?
They give 5 mics to any rapper they like, they don't review albums professionally.

Did The Lost Tapes really get 5 mics? :confusion: I know the media tend to overrate albums, and it is definitely a good effort, but 5 mics? As in perfect? There are a few albums that don't belong in that category as well (of those mentioned in the op). Besides, the list is definitely missing Black on both sides, It was written, Only built 4 cuban linx - just to mention a few.

And if I ever do live to be a legend

Not a surprise tbh, college dropout and mbdtf are amongst the most acclaimed mainstream albums of all time.
but I agree that TES deserved to be on the list

Musically, lyrically and... in fact in most senses, yes, and a better all-round album...

But MMLP is his masterpiece. TES is a better album; MMLP is better art.

The Eminem Show is a masterpicie tho fam i mean it's just a complete flawless work. As an artist he was better on TES so disagree about your better art opinion. TES has sold somethin like over 20 million worldwide. Got hella respect from his peers too

Drips, Say What You Say and When The Music Stops are the weakest songs on the album.

All of them are classic songs though. The worst song on the album easily was My Dad's Gone Crazy
