I don't even like 808s and Heatbreak, but that album changed the game and will stand out 10-20 years from now.

Kanye West changed the game with each release, people can hate all they want on Kanye, but he is a genius and more than a rapper, he's a great artist.

Don't hate Kanye just think his music is boring and that because of his generic subject matter, the fact he he has to get RnB singers to do his hooks is why he not a good artist. Also production wise he has a lotta help as far as people helpin him make the beats. A great artist is someone like DMX, Eminem they do their own great hooks not just rap but harmonize too, they don't just rap about generiuc topics. People relate to their music. anyone can pay an RnB singer to give them a hook like Kanye does.

I disagree with that Eminem's produced beats i found allways gave me that cinematic vibe like the way the beats build, the melody in them, the piano. No 1 is saying Eminem has had no help but people like him and DMX and 50 do their own choruses. With Eminem and DMX in this case people anticipate their hooks cus they catchy but then they anticipating all the verses becaue people wanna hear what they saying in the lyrics. With Kanye you kno an RnB act gonna be on the hook.

Kanye is a great artist because he transcends the genre by doing what you are bashing him for. Do you think artists in other genres just work on albums by themselves like most rappers do? They tend to have different producers and musicians involved in the project as well. While Kanye West is excellent at sharing his vision with others, you are ignoring the fact that this is something he conjures all on his own. It's not like these people come in and do the work for Kanye, he calls in specific people for specific reasons to play a role in his albums and it works perfectly.

Even Eminem has had help throughout the years, you can thank Jeff Bass for many of the catchy bass lines on Ems beats or Dr. Dre's mixing and executive production on Eminem's classic albums.

The difference between Eminem and Kanye is that Eminem's projects are centered around his rapping (simple yet catchy beats) while what makes Kanye West's albums great is the cinematic and grand sound of his albums.

If you ask me, Eminem's worst songs are the ones in which there is too much going on with the beat, it doesn't contrast well. Kanye is comfortable in his element and he always finds a way to keep every album refreshing without it sounding like a clash between his production and his rapping.
