If creating a hit that still is memorable 10 years later is so 'easy' fam den why do so many rappers struggle to make hits? you can't just apply your criteria to what you think is great homie. Your criteria isn't neccesarily the same as others.

When did I say they didn't?
I've already said I respect the fact it's seen as a classic, and accept that it generally is. But to me it's not a personal classic as I never listen to it, and it's not very memorable.
Also, 50 isn't a great songwriter.
He basically spits the same verse over any song regardless of the concept...
The tracks on Get Rich are great due to two things: production. And hooks.
Good hooks doesn't make him a great songwriter.

So Baltimore Love Story is about the same topic as In Da Club? Many Men is about the same concept as Candy Shop? The Good Die Young is about the same theme as My Life?

Rarely does he stick to a concept, or have one.
He may have vague hook concepts and have a few lines here or there, but then he starts rambling his usual shit about his money, his mock philosophy, and the usual talk, over and over.

That's what people said about Relapse but u digg that unless i'm mistaken so i don't see where ya coming from. It can't be 1 rule for 1 artist and another rule for another artist my g

We are you talking about?!? Relapse was nowhere near that!BlueberryWun wrote:You say Yelawolf is so creative so diffrent, so original @ Eminembase, but what has Yelawolf rapped about that has never been rapped about before numerous times by numerous other rappers?
Why do you keep contradicting yourself? If the stuff YELAWOLF has rapped about has been covered millions of times before... the stuff 50 Cent and Boosie have talked about had been rapped BILLIONS and TRILLIONS of times then.
And btw, I've heard Yelawolf rap about things that I've never heard in another rap song.
