If this is an instant classic then I wouldn't mind watching my all time favorite artist retire on top. I will miss him but it would be for the best.

If the album is really good, he should retire on top. If the album sucks, then he should also retire, right? So... Eminem should retire after this album regardless of what it's like? I could see it happening. But I can always talk nonchalantly about his retirement in his quiet periods. I really do want to see Em give recognition to Detroit's rap scene, have songs with people like D12, FK, Obie, SV, etc. even if it's just a mixtape.

Same here. Detroit has so many underrated artists right now. He could pay homage to his city and help some of them get hype. At least jump on a couple of their tracks. Horrocore track with king gordy would be nuts!
