This NEWS was like ages ago. Are we getting older material for his new Album? Seeing the period that these people claimed to have worked with him, it would be like, um, having songs from 2011-12 period. It isn't bad to actually think of it, but fresher material is always good. We don't want songs like "My Life" (2010) to be released years after they were made. I'm taking about being relevant here.

NO I.D said he's hitting the studio with Em back in September, that's definitely not ages ago.
An album needs at least 6 months working period, add 2 for mastering and final ordering of the songs.
So about half of this album will be 2012 material, the majority of it will most likely be from 2013.

Given all that, the Album should have been released by now, it's 8 fucking months. Do the math, Rev. We only know that the ALBUM would be coming after Memorial day, and nothing else that puts a solid assurance has been registered. The way things are going, I say another 3 Months for anything close to 1st Single. I'm being optimistic, here.

Seeing his 2012 material, hopefully you don't want that, neither do I. But what can we do? We're bound to get some older material.

Time is essence, Rev. It's good for him, but it's killing patience for fans.

2014? It shouldn't take him another 4 years just to put out another Album, B.

We're Stans at the end of the day, and I believe most of aren't content with the quality-and-quantity of music that he has put out after Recovery. A few highs here and there doesn't satisfy me, at least. All I'm saying that he should have started fresh this year around and use it in his Album whenever he puts it out. That was the point behind saying "I don't want his 2012 material".

We don't know what was his status quo in 2012, as Trimms said: It'd criminal to hate on his older material as there was no solo stuff being put out.
