Its so easy to be tempted to write Illmatic, Reasonable Doubt, Life After Death, Atliens, 36 chambers etc WITHOUT actually listening to the albums or really liking them. I know i'm a relatively new hip-hop listener so imma endorse that which i know.

Knowing that Raw by Hopsin is going to make the top 25 is just

It has a stroke of genius to it, and most importantly, it's genuine. His anger on some of those tracks is so real you can touch it. I find that most truly great albums are made before an artist blows up, when they're still hungry for fame and recognition.

It's not as accepted as a good album by hipsters compared to something like Below The Heavens or Black on Both Sides.
