Oldschool, Golden era, Second golden era etc. etc. are just eras, not sub genres. There were sub genres & totally different types of rappers in those eras as well.
Run DMC & LL came at the end of the Old school era & are from the then called New school movement which was pretty different than the typical Old school one & that's why they are in way different hip-hop genres to their predecessors & from one another too to be honest. For instance Run DMC are well known as rap rock, new jack swing kinda rap aritsts. Typical Old School artists are Kool Herc Africa Bambaata, Grandmaster Flash/Melle man & the furious five, Grandmaster Caz, Busy Bee, Curtis Blow etc. etc.
You've kinda mixed all the rest too but that's too tricky anyway considering some artists could be put in one genre 'cuz of their beats & delivery but to another considering their content & shit.
