How can hip-hop be dead if Wu-Tang is forever?

Well what the fuck does he expect...

Jay-Z probably has rappers and producers at every show trying to hand him shit from every angle... what's he supposed to do, stop and be like "oh, well, are you special? should I take notice?"

Just because he considers himself special, is Jay or any huge rapper supposed to analyze every single person :shakehead: lmao.

I agree... lol
Jay is one of the rappers who's given enough chances & has put a lotta rappers on to be honest... he's been good enough with that. Still that doesn't mean he'd analyze everybody who thinks they are special or constantly check on every single rapper.

He's not saying that Jay should have taken his CD. Just that at the time it had a big impact on him. Whats wrong with that?

You're actually right... there's nothing wrong with that but artists from the caliber of Jay's are constantly through this kinda ish from all kinda artist & will rather avoid all that but pay more attention to ones they hear about themselves when they feel like it.
