Haha! I remember when HHDX gave Yelawolf a poor review for Trunk Muzik Returns and the people went nuts defending Yela.

Now they give Kanye a great reveiw and the masses are pissed at them.

Yela > Kanye ya bish

honestly though, out of all rappers, Kanye's the one I would expect most to pay off the critics.

As long as he's got actual proof that the critics love him, he can continue to preach his pretentious nonsense about how he's the most important thing since sliced bread.

I'd rather listen to sliced bread rap, tbh.

Nah.. Ye doesn't give a fuck about critics like that. Pitchfork is the ultimate Ye stan site though.

It all comes down to different tastes and opinions. But don't let reviewers form your opinion for you, listen to it yourself and make a judgement. It's not an album for everyone, so if you don't like it that's perfectly fine. It's only an album, so if you're not feeling this one, you might like the other ones in the future. No big deal.

I miss the old Kanye. First 3 albums were solid...last 3 were awful. I don't know how people are still supporting this fuck :facepalm

I grew up with shit like Through the wire, Family business, Never let me down, I wonder, Champion, Can't tell me nothing, Flashing Lights, Everything I am, The Glory, Homecoming, Heard em say, Touch the sky, Roses, Bring me down, addiction, Diamonds, Hey Mama, gone, etc.

I'm starting to think he isn't capable of making music with any real substance anymore. This egotistical prick is the biggest falloff since Wayne, and somehow they both still sell. Shit's beyond me.

Or his album was actually good and pure hip hop fans can't accept it.

As a hip hop album it's bad. As an industrial electronic throbbing mix, it's decent.

exactly.

With all honestly, I haven't heard people outside of professional critics actually praise the album, far from it, they consider it a decent non hip hop album. Only people who come to this forum to piss other people off say they love it. But anyhow, I genuinely don't believe this album deserves all its praise. Its not horrible, but its not great. Its a 75% for me honestly.
