"Ill Mind 5" was great and a totally fresh / truthful direction... if he continues that or repeat himself, it will seem underwhelming as we've heard his views and he doesn't have too many of them... and if he goes back to being Em-ish or silly or jokey... it'll seem like a step backwards...

So I'm interested to see what he does with this.

It really was a fantastic concept. And he managed to keep in some natural and interesting rhyming for tech heads like me. However, he did have some corny and flat-out stupid lines (the "brain rotting from weed" line comes to mind). Looking forward to Ill Mind 6.

if you have followed the forum after hop dropped raw you would see I was one of his bigger supporter in this site, thats why I hope this next song is good but if its not well I'm not going to waste my time checking him out anymore if he can't deliver a entertaining solo song after releasing raw

and I can see the appeal to ill mind 5, just personally don't like it
its just not really anything special and feels generic like hop couldn't think of anything else to write about so he picked that subject matter and he doesn't really say anything unique in that song, if you gonna make a song like that at least make it unique, it feels like any rapper could have wrote it again nothing special
