Ye's worst album debut though, but the 'no radio single' probably played a big role.

Cole did well, almost 300k, even after a leak 12 days before the release.

Those are terrible lyrics but for Tech N9ne they're awesome because they actually make sense. Don't make me post 20 lines of fucking gibberish from Tech, because he has some truly awful lines.

Sorry, I phrased that wrong.

The three main components of rap are content, flow and delivery. Now, let's be factual, Kanye ticks all three boxes. But when you bring in the whole lyricism argument (especially when you're comparing him to Tech N9ne, who I like but you guys praise WAY too much) against ANY rapper, it basically becomes a back-and-forth of bad examples and good examples. So, no, the lyricism argument doesn't work, because it is a tiny minute part of rap.
