Maybe Porter has heard a good amount of the album but not the whole thing, so the possibility of him being in on production is still up in the air to him.

"Symphony in H" is not a good sign for his style changing too much though...

I think it'll be a mix of smooth and hard, fast and flow flows, wordplay and comical lines...

He's definitely gotten MUCH MUCH better at puns that's for sure. Some of his Recovery ones will stain that CD forever, they're unfathomably awful for a lyricist of his calibre... but he never really used them that much so it was like he was learning in front of us...

He's definitely gotten good at it now - all of his recent lines from 012-SIH are good to me, none are stretches or contrived phrasing, they all work smoothly and in and of themselves.

I like the production on SIH too but... I dunno... I think the BET Cypher felt like a new style; sure he was still using the one liners and some shouting but it felt different... the kind of tongue-twisting nature of some of the shit, and everything felt smooth and potent... I would like the style to like that, that's maybe my favourite style since his return, other than Relapse.

I wonder how he's going to make the music compelling or big or if he'll try to mirror the grandiosity of Kanye or any of these things though... I just fucking hope it's consistent with no "ffs, why" tracks that he puts on there as singles such as "Lighters" on the BME EP which forever stains it for me.

I expect totally different producers & totally different hooks for the most part... that would make it totally different to Recovery regardless of the rest factors IMO.
