Sajn, funny coincidence: I just saw a documentary about Europe's hotels and their prices yesterday on TV and apparently there's a good but cheap hostel in Paris called Christopher's Inn.

They built it for the FIFA World Cup in 1998, I guess it was supposed to transform this area of Paris into something better (hotels, restaurants, companies HQ,...), which is actually the case ! It was worst before.
But trust me, it's safe, i went there for many occasions (sports, concerts,).
There is a long road from the train station to the stadium, it's well surrounded by police, really nothing to worry about.
But just don't go too far from the station and the stadium...

Hotel is very close to the stadium, I would say 10mins by feet. And Ibis hotel are quite good. Nice one

Me and my friend is just going to sleep in the car since were driving there from sweden. We're going to find a nice spot as close as we can, but now that youre talking about ghettos and shit im not so sure.
Da_capo and you other frenchis, where would you recommend us to park our car? Its no special car or anything so it should be fine.

If it's the "Courtyard by Marriott Paris Saint Denis, Boulevard de la Libération, Saint-Denis" you are talking about, it is very close to the stadium, 10mins by feet.

Since a lot of people here asked in PM for info, i think it's better to share with everyone.

TICKETS FOR METRO :
For those who arrive at Charles de Gaule Airport. You will find shops to buy your ticket. The company running the transport network in Paris is called "RATP". Ask for a "carnet de ticket" (around 15 - 20 €) it's 10 tickets for central Paris (Zone 1) to visit.
Ask for a few ticket for Zone 2 too, because Stade de France is Zone 2. but most of the time, the stations's doors are open at "La Plaine - Stade de France" so no need to pay. Do whatever you want to do if you are short on money !
