I don't know about that. Macklemore just sold out Arena shows in the US, he'll perform there in October so when his sales start to slow down a bit. It'll give him a big boost.

I think it will be close for the platinum plaque but I'm pretty sure that kdot will sell more in the long run, that's just my opinion but he has just started a new world tour and he is going to release 2 new singles/videos

That's only half true

Kendrick has been a guest on features in which he has forced/contrived female-centric lyrics and the main motive behind this is to appeal to that demographic.
It's genius if you think about it, TDE/Kendrick found a way (networking/off the success of the album) of penetrating that target market without corrupting 'HIS’ catalogue.

Yelawolf = Eminem because Yelawolf is a way better white artist than Macklemore AKA Vanilla Ice
Drake/J. Cole = Kanye West, very artistic rappers that will gain a lot of respect in the game

Tyler = Jay-Z, he'll be at the top for 20 years.
