While I doubt this will be my AoTY I love hearing rappers wanting to put out classics. Competition is good for everybody. Makes everyone step up their game.

True that, well I just love rappers trying to make classics... even if they fail, that should always be the intent.

Where as... mostly what I see is just like... like Lil Wayne n shit or general rappers just like "yeah well, you know how I do, it's more of my shit feel me? just gonna put out some good music feel me?" just like... totally apathetic and fine with mediocrity...

Just like... man, how the fuck can you just be cool with being average and going through the motions; you have a platform to cement yourself and blow minds, dig deep you fuck head.

Which is why I love what Yellar's been saying lately or said before he started making Love Story; he said like he wants nothing less than a classic... it's like, YES, good mother fucker, that's the spirit.
