Dre gets a pass because he`s Dre,his sick beats makes up for him not writing his own shit.His contribution to Hip Hop and everything his done for the game more than makes up for it (in my opinion)

Ive always liked his voice too.It just sounds dope,real West Coast shit.

Chronic 2001 one of the best rap albums of all time.

Dr. Dre's delivery is amazing. That's how he "got away" with using other people's verses, because he was so convincing.

I never said that I can't enjoy Dr. Dre because he doesn't write his own stuff. That's not the point of the thread at all. I am talking purely about the voice/delivery, whether he writes his own verses or not is not taken into consideration here.


To whoever asked, yes, I do enjoy Still D. R. E.
There are songs/verses that I enjoy, but most times I feel like his delivery sounds fake. I dunno how to explain it.
