I'd say easily around a thousand shots at songs since Em's mainstream success. Several hundreds that are fully composed songs, most of which we probably hear lyrics from when he knows for sure they he aren't going to be released. And then maybe 100/200 that are mastered and fully done. How does that make you feel?

I get that Em's a real loyal guy and that's admirable but all joking aside what does Paul bring? Did he just get really lucky and meet Em before anyone else did.

I think it's obvious what Paul brings.

I think to a degree, Paul has talked with Em a lot about the direction of his career and how he wants to be perceived and these kinds of things... and helped Em keep his mystique.

Despite being perhaps the biggest artist in the world - Em still feels like an enigma to many, and yes part of that is his anti-social and shy personality but just little things like the serious, icey glares he did for any and all photos, the silence leading up to things, the surprise elements...

All of these things and more... I've seen/heard interviews with Paul where he explains the need for mystique and surprise well, and I've heard Em mention these things a few times too. I think you can tell Paul is a savvy guy and I don't think Em would have looked quite as grounded and feel quite as cool in terms of his approach if not for Paul. I think they're partners in approach.

And he's also just a smart mind / good advisor I think, for Em to have; he knows law and business dealings so he's the more corperate brain in the partnership; Em gets to create the art, Paul does the dealings... and yet they still collaborate (probably) on both in the sense they talk about these things and seem to have a plan and a consistent approach with marketing and sensibility.

Thhats true what Embase said.

Paul was a rapper to back in the day. But when he saw Em rap he said "dude, youre gonna blow up, and youre gonna need a lawyer".
Thats where they became friends. Think I read it in The Way I Am, the book.

Dewaun Parker, co-producer on Relapse said that he was with Dre listening to new Eminem music. Slim The Mobster posted on facebook a few days ago saying that he was with Dre last week and that new Eminem music was coming. DJ Whoo Kid posted a custom picture of Eminem on Twitter and Instagram and said that new music is coming soon...

We're gonna rock this house until we knock it down
So turn the volume loud, cause it's mayhem 'til the a.m.
So baby make just like K-Fed and let yourself go, let yourself go
Say fuck it before we kick the bucket
Life's too short to not go for broke

Go Berzerk!

Thanks for summarizing. :y:

Hm, it looks like a pre-album freestyle or the first single is coming. I'm getting hyped, tbh.

I hope we get another tweet about Em's album soon. These others are getting me more and more hyped.

Im sorry but who gives a shit about features? Those are the ones that 80% of the time ruin albums.
I listen to an Eminem album for Eminem, not some other rapper.

Ofcourse, if there where someone who came along that I liked or simply just is dope it would be cool. Which was probably your point

Eminem will be interviewed by France's Skyrock radio on August 19th, if you didn't know that already.

Hate that song.
I one of those who dont really see the good part in those albums. Saying a bunch of crazy and disgusting stuff doesnt need to be good. Ad ai dont think it is on for example SSLP. Relapse is my favorite and its in the same catagory.

Sorry, I wrote it in swenglish

I mean that I dont think that most of the "crazy and disgusting" lyrics on SSLP is any good. Its just forced to sound provocative.

On Relapse however I can listen to Em widening a pussy with an umbrella and enjoying it.

Makes sense?
