He could have asked them earlier. As a businessman, he should've been prepared for his lawyer saying he had to make money sooner rather than later. How long ago did we hear about the beat he had for Em and that he wanted Nas and Jay features? Then he waits until a month before he was supposed to be finished? This is his fault.

We heard about Tech having a beat for Em (Psycho Bitch 3) in his head, but the sample idea he had was already used by Rittz so he didn't wanna do it.

Then when he thought of another idea for Em it was too late.

We're missing a major factor here. Which is when he hears his beats. As far as we can tell he hears them when he's off tour and gets to the studio.

edit: Keep in mind tech does absolutely everything around the beats. They tell him what to do and who to put on track.
