I think they're just shutting down the rumours because then people who don't want kinect would just wait a few months.

Regardless, I'll be quite happy with my PS4. But still, I can really see Microsoft doing this because they KNOW it will get a lot of their consoles out there.

i don't see it happening.. they've based to many of their features around the kinect. Getting rid of it would be getting rid of half the features that they are promoting..

i hope im wrong... because im not overly fond of the kinnect. but i dont see it happening. their just pushing the voice commands/ tv commands/ facial recognition stuff to much to just up and change it..
not like they havnt reversed policy before though.. so we'll see.

Rumor: PS4 allows 4.5-5.5 gigs of RAM for games.
Most sites I've seen reporting on this are making this sound bad but I think it's really good news. Using so much RAM for non-gaming means everything will run faster and smoother. Plus PS3 only uses 512 mb for RAM so I think an 8-10X jump will be a huge difference lol. Games dont use as much RAM as ignorant people on the internet will make you think.

Battlefield 4 for sure, haven't decided on a second yet though. Killzone or Watch Dogs most likely. Call me crazy but I'm actually looking forward to also playing Knack, haha. Reminds me of a Crash Bandicoot/Banjo Kazooie mix, lol.

Well, it says 17 September 2013 worldwide. Lets hope they keep it that way.

Yeah but as far as I know they haven't said anything but the new consoles, so I'm a little skeptical that it'll be out right away. But hey, I've been wrong before.

I'm just itching to find out the actual release date for the PS4. Hope it's not the end of November and that those are just placeholder dates on most websites. I really want that shit early November like that "When Worlds Collide" poster seems to suggest.

Drive club on ps4 and killer instinct on x1. I'm a cheap ass. I just dished green for both systems. So until my wife lets go of my nuts free games it is.

How come the new GTA won't be coming out on the new consoles? I just read an article online but they didn't give any reasons. I understand why they wouldn't release it immediately due to them wanting to get maximum profit for 360/PS3 while they're still relevant. But not releasing down the line? That seems like a lot more money they'd be missing out on. Kind of disappointed, I'm not going to spend money on a game for a system that I'm barely going to use anymore.

but the way i see it as, they're pushing the limits of the current gen systems. any interview i read from rockstar make it seem that gta 5 pushed the shit out of the cores of both systems. Its they're final going away project on this gen, i respect that. Just as how san andreas was loads over gta 3

Next gen, im sure well get a run for our money.
