Take Care is leagues better than Thank Me Later (not to mention his mixtapes lol) so I don't see how it's been a "steady decline". Just because it isn't your style doesn't mean it's bad. It has artistic merit and there's a lot of well written songs. Also for people who haven't listened, there's only like one of those ym punchlines by drake that I can think of and most of the features are good.

It's undeniable that his "sound" changed once he signed with YM
I had a hard time accepting it, but when I did, I enjoyed TML and TC a lot
He still makes great music, just no longer that underground feel of CS
Maybe someday he will do something more on the likes of Closer, The presentation, Think good thoughts...
