I agree... Adele has definitely won it already unless some outta this world new artist comes the way she did. None of the artist behind her, Em including can catch that... let alone she's gonna add to it as well.

Adele released her first album in 2008 so she's not as new as people tend to assume, but you're right she'll most likely have the best selling album this decade.

As for Em, it would be really impressive as you said if he manages to get the second best selling album of the decade this far into his career. Especially considering that last decade his highest selling album was 4th on the best selling albums of the decade list.

He actually sells more albums than singles. He has an album in the top ten for the decade.
He has the highest certified single ever because they included streaming in digital songs certifications, the actual song only sold 3 million copies.

I don't think we have official numbers for Relapse..

Without it, he's at 39 878 307 millions album sold in the US alone with only his solo albums. That's only counting SSLP, MMLP, TES, Encore, Curtain Call and Recovery.

I'd say he's around.. 42 000 000 millions without 8 Mile and D12 albums. And he'll probably reach 50 000 000 if his next two albums sell good.
