I remember back in like, 09, i think it was 09, my friend picked me up to go somewhere and he kept talkin about Lupe and how Lupe dissed Eminem on a track and i just started laughin, he played the track, and it was a track i actually didn't hear from Lupe before, i think it was off his 2nd album, the track was dope but there was no mention of Eminem, it just sounded like it, but that track, and Kick Push made me love Lupe,

And now, the dude just, idk, i feel like his ego got the best of him and now he thinks his half assed stuff is masterpieces, idk, i'll have to give his newer stuff a full listen, wish he would shut the fuck up sometimes in the media tho, he sounds smart when he raps but the shit he says on twitter, or in interviews, makes him look like a dumbass.

Lmao naw, I think Lasers is the only album you would like tbh. It's not bad really, well at least to me. Production wise people hate it. His lyrics are still on point imo. You are right about one thing, he makes himself look like a dumbs in the media and especially twitter. I think he has social issues tbh.

It is a shame that you would let that get in the way of enjoying his music though. Preachy or not his recent material is showing signs of the amazing quality that flowed through F&L, ROTN and The Cool. I would say he has not dropped off at all in lyrical prowess, writing and delivery. The major problems that have plagued his most recent material are terrible production, stupid choruses and for lack of a better word "preachiness".
