That's because....

1.Eminem sounds comfortable and isn't forcing his lines

2.So Bad and On Fire are two of the better beats on the album

3.25 to Life is a good song, but it's overproduced and it would've been much better had he done his own hook instead of choosing the generic crap that was sent in with the beat. I though Em's cadence could've been smoother too, at times his delivery sounded to aggressive for what he was saying.

25 to Life isn't a bad song, but it certainly isn't better than So Bad or On Fire.

25 to Life remind's me of what people like to call "the old Eminem", just in a newer version. Lines like "Last straw that's all, that's it" from "Rabbit Run". Nothing sounds forced.

I think it is just a great song in general. The Hook only bothers me when it doesn't sound like it belongs. For example, I hate the "Won't Back Down" Hook (I dont care for the song itself either), that sounds forced to me, to loud and in your face, it doesn't have anything to do with the mess of content that is that song except for reiterate the title of the song.

The hook is good to me and fits the beat well. Yes it is normally much better when Eminem does his own hooks, assuming that it is a good hook but as long as the hook sounds good, fits the beat and content of the song, it's fine.

Like I have said before, "So Bad" and "On Fire" just seem like fillers to me, like he got lazy. I also don't like either hook. But to each their own, I'll never understand the love they get here.
