To me, Illmatic hasn't been topped yet.

For me Illmatic is the most influencial album of the East Coast .. It gave it a whole new sound .. The Chronic is the most influencial album of the West Coast .. so it's like a tie for me when it comes to wich album had the biggest influence on hip hop .. but neither of them are the best in my opinion

As you said, it's just an opinion but I don't see how Eminem is objectively better than Nas. Don't get me wrong, I'd put Eminem in a top5 (of all time) but if Nas is often #1 on the lists voted by the readers, it's because the majority of these readers think that he is the best.

I listen to Eminem more but In my opinion, Nas had the biggest impact, he has the longevity, Illmatic is better than TMMLP/TES/TSSP and he is as skilled as Eminem and your opinion won't change what I already think about these 2 rappers.

This list is just a collection of opinions, nothing more, it doesn't mean that Nas is the undisputed goat
