I think you guys are overreacting when you say TR doesn't care about artists that aren't affiliated to Shady. On KTT, it's way worse. If you like underground or horrorcore rappers, or rappers like Tech, Hopsin etc.. people will make fun of you and you'll get ridiculed.

Most of the members here listen to a lot of rap, whether it's mainstream or underground. Sure, there was a time when TR was more underground oriented with Sadistik, Immortal Technique, AOTP, Vinnie Paz and even RA rugged thread made frequently and it's not like that anymore but I think it also has to do with the fact that there's a new wave of mainstream and popular rappers that are good enough to be talked about.

It's also true that the community got smaller. I'm on KTT everyday and I can tell you that TR is not really as bad as you guys make it out to be.

^^^I hope that's a real post about Lil B's album

Menzo won't have a real discussion with me because of past reasons and me and Trimms actually had a discussion later on in the thread about why I think Sadistik has more respect so there goes that quote.

Not true. We can easily have discussions, you just don't partake in conversations I find particularly interesting (or know enough about). Do I find most of what you say pompous, arrogant, narcissistic and as shown above, conclusive - yes, but a new thread is a new discussion and I don't let it impair my conversation vision

Ehhh, not that I've seen :coffee:

This forum could improve discussion wise, sure. I think that better discussions will come when Eminem actually releases music, but as for now we really have nothing to talk about in the Eminem/Shady Records sections. I've seen good conversations in HHD, which is the only section that really has anything to talk about while Eminem is busy picking his ass and trying to think of a plot to somehow dig Detroit out of the massive grave it's resting in.

Obviously the forum isn't going to be majorly influential, you could say that purely on size alone. The cool thing about TR is that it has been around for a really long time, and has gotten to the point where pretty much every member knows everyone else. I think it's pretty cool, and I enjoy coming here more than I ever enjoyed larger forums.

Stuff like having Eminem be a recluse doesn't help a forum based around Eminem. Registration being broken for a while didn't really help either.

Nah see the thing with KTT is, that they have a corny community. All of their threads remind me of a Youtube comment section. Even though they're passionate and I guess "influential", they're not very knowledgeable and they're all pretty young. And there's a whole lot of white people/Euros there pretending to be black.

Boxden deserves its props cuz they have a knowledgeable, grown community and above all else, they're not corny.

They only talk about the same artists on boxden, The-Coli, IGN, N9netalk but they have more elaborate discussions.
you can go on one of these forums and you'll only see posts about Tupac, Biggie, Nas, Kendrick Lamar, Drake, J.Cole and Jay-Z.

I remember back in 2009 with Charles Hamilton and Mickey factz and them it was like wave of "hipster" rappers and I honestly thought was corny as fuck.

So glad that dumb sh*t ended and Big Krit, Kendrick, Joey Badass and J. Cole eventually came and brought us back to the essence and closer to the golden era

That hipster shit was so wack

This too, the forum looks messy. I love the simplicity on TR.

boxden wins by default because I'm on this forum :coffee:

The best discussions are on this forum, but don't even try to mention Eminem on this board :shifty:
