I know, but don't feel bad. We all came out of one.

In your case, you came out of a cunt's cunt. Since your mother is also a cunt, and has a cunt; therefore you, the cunt... came out of a cunt's cunt. You cunt.

You're walkin' down a horror corridor
It's almost 4 in the morning and you're in a
Nightmare, it's horrible
Right there's the coroner
Waiting for ya to turn the corner so he can corner ya
You're a goner he's onto ya
Out the corner of his cornea he just saw you run
All you want is to rest cuz you can't run anymore you're done
All he wants is to kill you in front of an audience
While everybody is watching in the party applauding it
Here I sit while I'm caught up in deep, thought again
Contemplating my next plot again
Swallowing a klonopin while I'm noddin in and out on the ottoman
At the ramada inn, holdin' on to the pill bottle then
Lick my finger and swirl it round the bottom and make sure I got all of it
Wake up naked at McDonald's with
Blood all over me, Dead bodies behind the counter, shit
Guess I must have just blacked out again...
Not again!

3 AM is actually one of the better songs on the album where he doesn't do it that much. The beginning is pretty descriptive the part you highlighted is really stupid. Oh wow Eminem you're so crazy you left your Ramada Inn and went and killed everyone at mcdonalds while naked.

I'll never understand some of those criticisms. There seems to be a double standard when it comes to 1999 Slim Shady and 2009 Slim Shady.

Because 1999 Slim Shady was funny, creative and unique while 2009 Slim Shady was nothing of the sort.

State of Lunacy? Production is much better because there are no Beautifuls and Crack A Bottles holding it back. Written better in every category. The imagery on this is better than anything on Relapse by far.

Because it's a more watered down mainstream version of it.

I'd say it's more like the UK's version of violent-backpacker hip-hop.... much like a Diabolic, Necro, Jedi Mind Tricks etc. etc. While I can't deny the lyrics on this album are fucking incredible, it's definitely not creative or unique, it's been done before....a hundred times.

Rhyme Asylum isn't like those artists at all. The writing styles are completely different. No one had ever made an album like State of Lunacy before it dropped.

And no way that the cliche underground hip-hop sound on that album is better than the detailed and superb production Dr. Dre created for Relapse.

I said it was more coherent. Of course it's not going to have better production that an album produced by a legend like Dr. Dre.

The production is that way because of their low budget, that's not to say I don't like the production. Lyrically though it's nothing at all like those albums. Over the top shocking lyrics is a broad generalization that includes everything from MMLP to Odd Future albums in it. Are you going to say Eminem's first two albums weren't unique or original because R.A The Rugged Man, Wu-Tang, Redman and Heltah Skeltah were putting out albums with over the top shocking lyrics before him?

So you seriously think Stark Raving Genius is just shock lyrics? What makes Relapse a different class then?
