Game deleted a tweet where he said that kendrick was going to respond and ether everybody.
I bet it's a marketing move to get his clique more buzz
Kendrick Lamar x Schoolboy Q x Ab-Soul x Jay Rock - We runnin this game

They're only on the map right now because of Kendrick and they're all making verses about him. He's on top of the game and not one ting can change that. Joel might drop a hot response but did he follow up Section.80 with gkmc? Did he get invited onto every track and murder every hot rapper in the game right now? No. He made Wrlcome to Our House, lol. Budden made WTOH then No Love Lost or whatever it was and both were mediocre.
One hot verse doesn't matter, Kendrick has had 3 hot years.

No one on here has been in a position where they could even come close to writing a line with the magnitude of that line.

You never said magnitude in relation to a position in the game. You said illest, implying well written.
But plenty of rappers have said theyre king, I'm not sure how his is any different.
Kanye calls himself yeezus, I mean really.
But it's Kendrick! So, for whatever reason, it's special. I don't get it either.Miller wrote:Rattle1 wrote:When was the last time someone shook up the rap game in one verse ? yeah you get it
He really didnt do anything ground breaking. He just rapped about being the best (everyone does this) but he mentioned actual names so it's a big deal I guess.

Anybody else could've performed the exact same bars and it would be just another verse. But again, it's Kendrick, so it's suddenly goat-material.

It's not that hard to understand.
You have to remove it from Underground rappers having pops at people to get exposure. Imagine prime-Eminem, in the earl 2000's, "dissing" Jay-Z and Nas and more saying not to get involved. It's only Em, pac and biggie. Imagine the reaction.
And the "king of new york" is unprecedented, lol.
