This is not pop sounding, you obviously don't know what pop is. What's pop about this song, tell me. The beat sounds hip hop. He's rapping, that's obviously hip hop. What's pop? The hook doesn't sound pop, it sounds more soulful than pop is.

Rapping isn't Hip-Hop! Rapping is about the music also. The hook sounds EXACLTY like a pink song and the beat sounds like christina aguilera's fighter... Yes he is rapping but that's the only part of it that is "hip-hop". If there where no real hip-hop how come an album can be labeled Instrumental Hip-Hop?

Because a delivery like The Warning is not highly energetic for what is supposed to be a stadium track. I want to hear a smooth flow too, but that doesn't work at all on a song like this.

from what I heard they were generic and lacked substance. I mean, I didn't notice any bad punchlines (or any sort of writing mechanism at all but maybe I need to listen again), but I don't see anything witty, aware, or anything of the sort in the verses that we heard. He's just rapping here, there's nothing innovative so he obviously has to rap well, which I don't think he did.

We'll have to wait for the full song though but I don't think those verses are anything but average. There's probably some kewl inverse rhymes for technical nerds though
