The third verse kind of reminds me of Em's verse on Fame. Just the feel of them both feel....simular.

The problem is that people are focusing on sounding too much, not realizing that Eminem has just spit some real shit. Nobody could fuck with him, if they're not able to bring up real and serious points. You cant go at Eminem with a bunch of super-duper punchlines and amazing flow - this shit is childish for Eminem, he can fuck you up without any punchline in his response.

Just had first listen of this. Overall, better than most of what he's put out over the last few years, but I'm still not overly impressed. I could tell straight away it was a DJ Khalil (who although is still one of the best in the game, unfortunately doesn't seem to be evolving much as a producer) beat. The song has that similar raw, in-your-face vibe as WBD. The chorus is pretty corny in my eyes. The lyrics are decent and the third verse is pretty nice, but I've heard this kind of content many times before now. "Don't give up, I'll never quit, I'ma X til I X...." etc. I'm glad it apparently isn't the lead single, but there's some nice elements to it. it definitely has that motivation feel to it. The second and third verses seemed considerably stronger than the first. Overall it's decent for what it is, but I don't think it will age particularly well.

Normally, when I get a new Eminem so I sort of take an average of the responses on Bx (naysayers till they die) and TRS (rabid stans) and my verdict based on that was that this would be, at most, average. It isn't. This is brilliant. The Skylar Grey hook is generic, sure, but it also fits in well for a game soundtrack. I'm not finna listen to something overly complex when i'm gaming, I'll need something anthemic, and Skylar Grey provides.
Em's Verse is brilliant, just the right amount of agression for a violent video game ( seriously, did you mahfckers expect something level headed and insightful, maybe with a Marvin Gaye sample perhaps accompanied by pianos and violins and flutes? retards) he's actually touching on topics i want to hear him speak about, his top 5 GOATishness and doing so in a manner that is not embarrassing, nary a corny punchline to be seen. His voice sounds awesome, his rhymes are clever. If this is recovery 2, then fuck it, bring it.
