Lupe's was weak, pretty lazy/generic flow too. I rarely like laid back/slowish rap doh, I love tight or melodic flows, from what I've heard of Lupe, dude is pretty overrated. But, never given him a proper chance, so, reserving judgement yo. Just saying, from what I have heard.
Out of these responses I've heard so far... apart from Joell's... you wonder if they can even hear their own shit in a realistic light, because if they can't hear that their verses/responses aren't even in the same galaxy as Kendrick's... I mean, unless they weren't trying to top him, but then why bother responding, it's like they barely try. Put some fucking effort in yo, want credit for lazy shit.
Kendrick's is still the best, and I only heard it twice. Shit is impactful famine.
Thanks to whoever put them all in one spot. I agree with you on everything, except maybe I think Lupe was a little better than you think. But some pretty weak responses. Some showed off good flow, like Cassidy, but that's a response? Kendrick called himself the king of New York. And these are the comeback's he's getting? I love Kendrick, he's my favorite and the best in the game right now imo, but somebody needs to put their big boy pants on and get at him.
