What impressed you more? I'm gonna say Symphony in H was better. At least he didn't yell so crazily. It was much more natural and less forced.

Survival obviuosly. Its a more complete song.
I love Symphony in H but come on, its just a freestyle type of song. It shoulnt even be compared to a full song. Put it up against Despicable or something.

But if we would imagine Symphony in H as a full song, Survival would still kick its ass.

Yeah I think he just means the rapping on either fam...

As for which... um, definitely "Survival" for me... I remember liking "Symphony in H" a lot but "Survival" made like "wow that's awesome" at the new raps, just had a kind of "nice..." reaction to SIH.

I think we can't compare a 1:30 verse for some mixtape with a full song produced for Em's album. Survival is waaaaaaay superior. Great verses, rhyming, flow. And cool hook.

Survival.

I hate that people keep bitching about him "yelling" and "screaming" in it. It's a hype song, the energy is ridiculous. A smooth voice would have made it boring. Loud is what the song called for. It's certainly not his new voice.

listened to symphony in H about 2-3 times the night it got put out and havent listened to it since.
survival is on repeat right now though. awesome in the car!

Symphony in H is unlistenable. I haven't listened to it since it first came out. I clicked on it by accident yesterday and closed that goofy ass beat out before I had a chance to listen to Em's horrible flow.


Survival has a decent beat, while I'm not huge on other people on Em's songs, Liz sings well, and while Em's flow and lyrics aren't perfect, he sounds crisp and has some powerful lines.

A smooth delivery would've sounded stupid, given the energy and concept of the song. But you try telling people like OP and they ignore you.
