He knows that it is impossible to please everyone, knows and understands this better than anybody here does. Everyone has the right of like/not like whatever music Em puts out. What is boring is people who complain just for the sake of complaining. Like the term 'Recoveryish'. Fuck that. Anyone with the great power of reasoning can SEE/HEAR a difference (for good) in Survival in comparison with Recovery. There are some elements (production/hook). But the self-awareness, voice control and flow are better. Y'all can obviously still not like, but just... Don't criticize withouth arguments. It's just annoying.

The problem with Current Eminem is that even when he shows flashes of greatness, he doesn't really have a present identity. We don't know what to expect from him.

You see, Back in the days he had an identity. He was Slim Shady. He was the brain damaged man that murdered his wife and couldn't control his anger. He was the guy who invented ''Stan.'' He was the guy who didn't give a F*CK and said F*ck the world!

Then he became Superman, he made 8 Mile, Lose Yourself.

Do you see where I'm getting at? I'm not talking about him being ''hard,'' I'm talking about him having an identity, his own signature persona.

He tried to recapture his old image with 3 AM, but it just didn't work. Totally played out approach. He created the puppet doll voice and it didn't work.

Now he's making songs for video games that have no meaning. What does he have left to rap about? Rap about something original and stop trying to innovate man. Go back to being you. Like you said, ''be proud of who you are.'' Stop trying to keep changing.

I'll tell you this. Classic Em stood out from the crowd. What is he doing right now to make him stand out from everyone else? If anything, he's just blending more and more in with his watered down beats and hooks such as the ones of ''Survival.'' Go listen to TES. Go watch 8 Mile.

Survival is a kick ass song? None of his songs have any rhythm at all. Zilch. He forgot what a kick ass song is. Of course I want old Em back. It's still better than this man trying to sound like a 25 year old pop artist. 2000 Eminem would be ashamed.

What would 2000 Eminem rap about? Like if we went back in time and brought him to 2013. He wouldn't be rapping how he is now. He'd have something to say.
