It's amazing how delusional this board is when it comes to Eminem.

To think you guys have any influence on the content of Em's record, or any aspect of Eminem's work is really crazy.

"Unhappy Fans" were the reason Relapse 2 was scrapped. You're wrong, take this L.

I think it was more it didn't appeal to casual music listeners. Rather than unhappy fans. It didn't have the radio friendly hits that the girl that knows three Eminem songs can love.

People who actually like Eminem like Relapse, for the most part.

Nah, it's just on TR. People outside of TR usually don't like Relapse.

Crack A Bottle was number one on Billboard. Just like Not Afraid or LTWYL. So yeah.. It was more like bad reviews/lots of fans hating it.

Recovery didn't sell a lot better. And yeah I agree that it not selling like the label wanted, caused the label to pressure Em out of it. But it wasn't because of this web site. "You people and your fucking "emotions" are gonna fuck up this album too just like you did with Relapse 2. Bitching about content and an accent. " It kind of implies that the small amount of regular users has any impact on anything.

Just like people thinking that the take from me was made for just koolo and not a general song of piracy that has effected Em and royces catalog for years.

Just like people here talk about Eminem like he's a wounded puppy. THINK EMINEM EVER GETS LAID? THINK EM'S HAPPY? I HOPE EM'S ALBUM SELLS WELL, HE NEEDS IT. His life is amazing.

That was my point of the delusion. I blame the label for no Relapse to. But yeah, if it would have sold better, they couldn't of said anything. But that wasn't because people talked bad about it, it was more because it was a cd about killing and eating women rather than U BROKE UP WITH ME, IM SAD, I WANT TO BE WITH YOu, BUT IM NOT SURE Rihanna sad relationship music.

No he doesn't, fucking faggot. Fight me bitch Eminem is never happy he was happy when he was on drugs with Proof. He needs to go back on drugs.

Fight me irl.

guiltyhiphop wrote:The reason we love Relapse is the same reason we appreciate lyrical rappers. Em went hard on relapse and had some pretty intense rhyme schemes.

Naturally though, mainstream listeners don't catch the rhyme schemes but almost subconsciously are aware of it cause they know the skill level differences between guys like Em and guys like Wayne.

How someone could go from great music on SSLP, MMLP, TES + Music for the 8 Mile Soundtrack to Encore is mind boggling. His only good verse on that album was his Spend Some Time Verse which was obviously written a lot more earlier than the rest of the Encore tracks.

Agreed, except for 'his only good verse was...'

There's a few good tracks on Encore, he doesn't just have 1 good verse.

"Evil Deeds" and "Mosh" and "Crazy In Love" all have good verses, especially CIN.

Except for the fact that Relapse really WAS scrapped due to majority fan reaction to content and accent... hence Em apologizing for the album in his own material :/ who'd you think he's begging for love from, you think he's apologizing to the label lmao?

"don't worry I ain't going back to that now..."

50 also said Em ditched R2 due to how people reacted to Relapse.

Recovery was made for no other reason than a mixed reaction from fans.

It's not delusion, it's fact bruh.

Koolo shit is different; in the instance of Relapse and Recovery;; it wasn't a 'small amount' - it was the majority of everybody who heard the material, and Em heard that feedback and doesn't have the strength of his own artistic conviction, so designed an album by committee.

They love it on KTT .. don't know about SL but they usually hate EVERYTHING Em does so I wouldn't be surprised if they don't like relapse either.
