You literally want the exact opposite of every other Eminem fan in the world. In everything, not just Not Afraid. You are one of the oddest Em fans I have ever met lmao.

I don't believe anyone hyping up Em's album. It means nothing. Everyone wants to be in Em's good gracious. If not for Em, Royce would be filing for bankruptcy like the rest of Detroit. And his brother has seen some good fortune because of Em.

There is no credible hype for Em. Everyone gains something. If a magazine were to get a "sneak peak listen" and call it fire, then that would be bullshit too. Because in return for hype, they get publicized.

All hype is bullshit. Only thing that will give me any insight on the album is me hearing it.

WOAH, maybe Dre will say it is fire next, or Paul. WOOAAAH.

Exactly. It's like a Mom saying how AMAZING her kid is at football. He sucks just like the other kids, cause they're kids. But she's a biased Mom. Just like Em's circle and extended circle is biased nut lickers.

Nah I was being serious...Not Afraid is one of my favorites on Recovery and my favorite first single of his ever (and I've been a fan since the SSLP and a big fan since 8 Mile)

I think I'm pretty versatile as a fan and I'm not much of a hater unless it's really bad...and I'm mature enough that if I don't like a certain track I'll say I'm not feeling it and go into hibernation from this forum like last year

I'm also older than most people on here (25) and I'm sure if I was 16 again I would certainly feel different and probably not like Not Afraid at all...I'm not that rebellious teen anymore and I like my life so I enjoy more commercial sounding songs about success and motivation...certainly more than I used to

Believe the hype is real
I don't want you to be-lieve,
Cause this is something that I must use, to suc-ceed,
And if you don't like me then fuck-you,
Self-e-steem, must be fuckin' shootin' through the roof,
cause trust me,
My skin is too thick and bulletproof to touch me
I can see why the fuck I dis-gust you,
I must be allergic to failure, cause every time I come close to it,
I just sneeze but I just go a-choo, then a-CHIEVE

I want him to sound like he did back in the days on bis first 3 albums. Back then you could hear what he said and understand it. He used to care so much about how in depth his lyrics were.
I wish he would diss Justin Bieber.

If you're 25 then that makes tons of sense. I'm 23 though and I'm still going through that rebellious stage. You must have matured way quicker than I am. :coffee:
