An interesting thing to think about, also. When Survival came out, right away Elliott Wilson (CEO of Rap Radar, who has that picture) tweeted that Survival will not be the lead single. Later that day, Interscope confirmed. But Wilson was the first one to really say that and he's the one who would know what the Sept. 3rd date is.
