It's clear that Mourinho grew to hate Casillas this previous season.
At the very beginnings of his bad performances Mou was right to put him on the bench (as he did with many other players including Ozil and Di Maria).
But after he came back from his injury Mou was supposed to treat him like every other player and give him some minutes every now and then (you know...to get the sense of it again), especially when you already lost the league after the first 10 games. When you put the 3rd and 4th goalkeeper over him you're just insulting him.
But I gotta admit Casillas still needs about 2-3 months of hard work to get back on form, he did good against Chelsea and his performances have gotten better since the Confederation Cup.
Diego Lopez has been great so far so unless Casillas steps his game up I don't think he's gonna start in any game soon.

To me Mou washed his hands with Casillas & kinda ruined his greatness & legacy doing that but Lopez did great in that period of time last year indeed. He was kinda shaky & did a few mistakes that last game but I agree Casillas has to step his game up a bit to regain his spot. It's ridiculous a goalie with his legacy & history to be a second choice to one who's been second choice in weaker teams for at least half of his career but at the end of the day it is what it is.

No doubt. Wasn't that on his final game in charge of Madrid? I remember Mourinho putting the third choice goalkeeper on the bench.

Also, Benzem :shakehead:
I don't know if you caught this but there was a moment where Ozil told him wait and not run before he even passes the ball. The offsides killed me :sweating:

HAHA yep man, fucking hell. How does Benzema manage to be offside every fucking time.. It kills me to see this guy. Fucking Morata almost played better than him, even tho he just played 10 mins

He's no Inzaghi, that's for true :smoking:

Just like Sir Alex said back in the day... Inzaghi was born off side.

Inzaghi always seemed like the kind of player that was like "WTF Am I doing?" yet he always scored lmao.

Couldn't ever deny that. Inzaghi, Gattuso, Nesta, Seedorf, Sheva, Kaka, Maldini, Cafu...man, Milan has had some of the most legendary players of all time. Fuck, it's sad that that era is gone :confusion:

All legends
But it was about time to renew it, Milan was looking like a elderly center
And now I get to see Seedorf play in my country :)
Btw, Neymar socred his first official goal on Barcelona :worship:

Kind of bugs me how as soon as he was dropped from Spain's squad, they owned the world. I remember some controversy over his absence from the Euro 2008 squad but look what's happened...

Real should have given him another season at least... I hate the fact Spain kept winning just after Raul was dropped too. On another note Messi might beat his record for most goals in the CL this year.

Simple on paper... but always difficult on the field. I'm optimistic about the new coach... Roma can't compete with the top teams yet but I am gonna be glad if they are solid enough to be in top 3 this year.
Totti takes on those all time records again... dude has been fucking briliant & I've been a crazy fan of him from day one.

It's just a damn shame he doesn't have the trophy cabinet to match his individual talent but that's what happens when you remain loyal to the bone for your club.

True... he's got plenty individual awards but he lacks what teams like Real, Barca, Juve, Milan & Inter have won & could have won with him.
I'm more than glad he never left though... he past any test for been loyal to your home club.
