Nice to see he realized that
Artists gotta care for what they do
Weezy is a game legend and had a great run
Let's hope this tweet starts a step up in his music in order to end his career in a good way

Won't happen.

Fuck Lil Wayne, of course he realizes that it all sucks, how can he take himself seriously rapping about NOTHING a whole song, for whole albums/mixtapes? You can all say Em does this but that's not true, Em can stay on topic, this fuckhead has NO topic.

Well, this is good. Wayne have some good albums, and his voice is not that bad for me. And I respect an artist who recognizes that his work was not good enough lately.

For a while now, from the listener's perspective, it feels like his main objective is money and not really the music. I could be extremely wrong cause I don't know the guy, but you should always strive to put out great music to the best of your abilities. If you're "meh" with your music, people are gonna be "meh" too.

I mean the fact that he's still relevant says a lot, even though Drake arguably is more popular. But for a while now he's said he wanted to retire so maybe he lost his fire a while back and never said anything until 2011 or so.

I think he overdid & watered his sound... he's definitely still relevant but he's been losing it for a while now.
I got your point regardless though... It was on point.

His new mixtape is dropping soon. Looking forward to it
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Yes, he still got time though
If he gets back to the top with, let's say, 2 good to great albuns and an amazing The Carter V, he's pretty much made
