Hi everyone I'm new and had to join this forum because I've had a permanent hard on the past 12 hours! I mean, The Marshall Mathers LP was the first album that even got me hooked on music. I don't listen to much hip-hop these days other than Em, and holy fuck I feel like I'm in a dream right now. Ironically I listened to the MMLP all the way through a couple times yesterday morning for the first time in over a year hours before this news came. I honestly felt like I was tripping when I went on Twitter and seen #MMLP2

People seriously, who the hell could've guessed a sequel to The Marshall Fucking Mathers LP!!!!!! He's fucking blonde and that chorus from Berserk is just God-like! What a fucking build up!

Survival is obviously just a Recovery reject hence the DJ Khalil production credit, Liz Rodrigues chorus and the shouty flow. Berserk sounds fresh, like classic Slim Shady but like something totally new at the same time. I predict it will be a big commercial hit, but similar to TRSS will be totally different to the rest of the album. I'm thinking this is going to be a properly dark, venomous Eminem hence the promo pics with him flicking the finger, the above devil horn pic and Royce's Instagram and Shady being "against everybody".

What's out predictions on cover art? I read earlier a rumour that the cover will be similar to the first MMLP cover but that it will be Em sitting outside a huge mansion which would e pretty cool.

I dunno why you guys are using performances as a basis that he won't be blonde for the album. He very well may not be, but it would be pretty stupid to reveal something that big before we know why it's happening, ya know?

Rick Rubin is actually great but doesn't it mean it'll be rock influenced too much?

Rick Ruben started Def Jam records so his roots are in Hip-hop. Although he has done a lot of rock projects

NP though. My response to Jagoda was simply that Rubin is known for his "stripped-down" production, not so much for "rock production". The fact that he has produced several rock projects causes some understandable confusion though. Rubin often also try to make artists explore new areas in music.
