I had to go to school that day. So I had a family member go get the cd for me. She got me the first copy at the store. I kept the receipt in the case up to a few years ago. 8:59 am she bought it at a store that opened at 9. I had the first copy of the CD in my area(except for a few that probably worked at the store). She told me they opened the first box in front of her. My little kid stan mind loved that.

I got out of school with my man hole cover sized diskman in my backpack. And listened to that CD over and over and over.


13 years later, I am excited to hear hopefully the best Eminem CD since the Eminem show.

So, lets talk about MMLP/ MMLP2 related things.


I think this CD is going to be classic. I think it's possible it will be better than Relapse.

Dre, Rubin, Eminem, No Id. Em's hungry and ready to give us a true HIP HOP ALBUM.

I'm either going to feel like I did in 2000 listening to that CD or crushed, because I am ready for this CD.

lol yeah i still remember it though. When MMLP came out, at that time i was 9 years old and the thing got me into Eminem is the slim shady persona. Even though i was young enough to understand those lyrics, metaphors and other stuff but i was really really hyped up when i knew that my favorite blonde rapper is going to drop another album. I live in Pakistan so Eminem didn't have that much of his fans here 'cause we have kinda different culture, music taste and stuff but i was his one crazy ass fan. Hell yeah still i am.
So i went to Karachi specially to buy his MMLP CD, it was June 2000 i guess and i remember all the way back i was damn hyped up that i can't even sit tight on my seat lol.
13 years later i feel the same. I know deep down there Marshall still cares about his die hard fans who were there from the start. I mean comon look at the life from his point of view; 2 daughters, millions of dollars and i guess every 10th person in the entire world knows him, but he's still going hard. Plus IDGAF if he raps about Butt holes or slitting a whore's throat, i just want him around. I was there when nobody knew him in my country and I'm still here to support as a True fan.

Seeing Slim Cary all giddy is like watching Hitler play and laugh with little Jewish children.

It's off putting but gravitating at the same time...

I love Em's music. He's just been mediocre lately, so I haven't had anything good to say.

That sucks you guys missed Eminem blowing up. It was fun then. Now, everything just falls in your lap. I remember searching for rare songs on Napster and waiting for them to download. Getting infinite and ssllp offline and waiting for them to come to my house. The first few years were really crazy and fun to follow him.
