I loved the 1st verse from 1st listen, and still do... classic shit... but 2nd and 3rd... I dunno.

I had to go to sleep last night because it was just too much to take in.
Bought it off itunes today and I have come to the conclusion this song is fucking AWESOME.
I laugh out loud everytime when he suddenly in the middle of his verse go "POW CHICKA POW POW" The hook is one of his best hooks ever imo, its so immensely good.

If you mean the song sounds like a rock album? Not really. Feels hip-hop to me. But this is MMLP2. Not MMLP. It's going to be newer and evolved. Doesn't mean it HAS to have the same sound. Besides, this is just a teaser for it. Doesn't mean the whole album will sound like that. Just the topics/themes/etc will be similar.

Right. My question is do you get a vibe from him that he'll make an album similar to Beasty Boys, with some rap mixed in?

One thing I will say is...

This feels kinda like an album track, in a good way...

As in, he didn't hold back on swearing, experimentation or abrasiveness... it's obviously catchier and bigger, but it doesn't feel like it'd stand out or taint an album...

I think the song is absolute genius. It's a perfect first single for an MMLP sequel. Think about it... he's making fun of people. He's calling out the shit rappers. He's being clever. It's all pointing towards a sick album; MMLP-esque.

Verse 1
He's arriving at the party (the rap game) and it looks wack. Okay. So Em's like "I'm 'bout to kick it"... It's his turn. He's about to turn these critics to crickets. He's about to bring back the vintage Slim (bitch!) - Shit's about to get real with this album. This song is just a fucking teaser for the bombshell that is the MMLP2.

Hook
He's gonna rock the house (again, the rap game) so turn his shit up loud. He's about to go berzerk.

Verse 2
He's going after the people who attack him for his image. Simple enough. But he's attacking back. His stupid lyrics in this verse are intentional. He's making fun of those shit flows and stupid lyrics in mainstream rap. He's like "dumb it down, I don't know how, how" etc. He can't. All he knows how to be is dope. And he admits he doesn't know how to dumb it down. But then he asks if "you bozos" (mainstream rap) are smart enough to feel stupid that they don't know how to be dope? He hopes so... I think this verse is fucking brilliant.

Verse 3
Last verse of the song, or the teaser. Why not give us a little extra taste of what's to come? Reference after reference. Joke after joke. Subtlety after subtlety. Vintage Slim.

Berzerk is fucking clever as fuck, catchy, smart, and dope. I love it. Don't view this song as a single, view it as a little glimpse as to how awesome MMLP2 will be. He's just letting us know ahead of time.

After actually reading the lyrics, you notice there are alot of subliminal/double meanings hidden in there..
this breaks down every line of the song. some of it i didn't catch on my first 2 listens.
but the lyrics are actually very clever.

I really like the song.Its a funny good feel song and the chorus is great.

But i really want to see the music video...that will take this song up a level.Hope its released soon and i hope the clips from the Beats By Dre commercial was actual clips from the Music video cause it looks dope as fuck!
