Encore is undeniably the worst album Em has ever made. Also, TES is definitely not underrated here.

I remember when TES came out, a lot of Eminem fans on forums I went to thought it was a big step backwards for him. They missed the humor and attitude, and thought his multies were forced. I always liked it, but I go back and forth on whether it's my second favorite Eminem album or whether it's my favorite.

Well I agree it's not underrated here / among Em fans... though, in general hip-hop and music I think it's criminally underrated and under-mentioned.

I've never seen it on a top 100 list.

MMLP is always on those lists, and most consider that his masterpiece... which, artistically, it is... but, I see so many general hip-hop fans and pretend-I'm-not-a-Stan old Em fans say things like he hasn't been good since MMLP lmao, which is just ridiculous.

My mate thinks / says he "sold out" with TES too and... just absurd. People just love to disassociate themselves when someone/something feels 'too big' now so they love to pretend they're not hip to it any more, like die hard Simpsons fans who say stupid shit like "it was good for 2 seasons" lmao.

TES is fucking incredible, an absolute monster hip-hop album; so consistent and jammed with quality musically and lyrically, doesn't get anywhere near enough credit.

I really do never see it mentioned come to think of it, or even if it is.. it's just like a general acceptance of it being good rather than praise... in comparison to ridiculously lavish praise I see poured over Kanye's and Jay's... even... more subpar albums in comparison.

TES fucking ethers anything they've put out, as a hip-hop album. He's way more clever, skillful, witty and creative in one song than Ye or Jay are throughout their fucking albums, on TES.
