Yeah but comparatively, I think "Survival" is crap. On it's own it's a good song but...nothing new or exciting. "Berzerk" is so fucking fresh.

I kinda feel that way too. I mean, I think the delivery and beat selection on Suvival is different than Recovery, but it doesn't set itself as far apart from Recovery as Berzerk does. Survival is more like a baby step away from that sound, where Berzerk is a complete hundred yard dash.

Survival felt like a Recovery song. It's not that it isn't good, it's just that I'm tired of Em collaborating with the same pop artists/singers all the time. I swear it's like he has a raging hard on for Liz Rodriguez, Skylar Grey, Pink, and Rihanna. Berzerk on the other hand isn't the greatest song he's ever put out, but it's something new and Em sounds comfortable with being himself again.

Survival has elements of Recovery, and they are the ones that I don't like. Female/generic hooks, generic beats. Apart from that, is a great, well-writen song, and Em has a nice flow in it.

I honestly can give less than a flying fuck if there's a women singer ( even Rihanna) as long as the song's dope . Anybody could make a song doper if they fit.

There's no way in hell that Survival will be on as anything but a bonus track.

Oh, definitely, I agree lol. I like Berzerk far more. I can tell he made it specifically as the single. Survival is good on its own, but on something like MMLP 2 it would be trash. Berzerk fits because it's unique and fresh, as you put it. Would much rather it be a bonus track if it has got to be on the album.

Which video do you guys think will drop first? I have a feeling it will be Berzerk, I hope it is.

Survival does not fit if Berzerk is the single. It'd be like having Not Afriad on the same album as Crack A Bottle or some shit. Beautiful though it sounded out of place on relapse, was too good a song to not include. Thats not the same case with Survival. Ems verses are solid, the first is forgettable though, but the chorus ruins the whole thing. Liz sounded good and fit Almost Famous, above the law, echo.....survival not so much. I hope it becomes an unreleased or just a bonus track. Em makes dumb decisions for his bonus tracks. We as americans and love you more should've been on Encore, My darling and careful wjat you wish for on relapse, and session one and ridaz on recovery.
