EminemBase is probably the biggest fan on the forum. Just because he has some doubts doesn't mean he's not a fan. After Recovery, HTS and his post collab songs we have every right to doubt Em. Yes, there were some gems on it but his albums aren't as cohesive as they used to be.

I agree, man. It's like no one even wants to hear what Em has to say anymore. He pops up randomly with new material or makes an appearance, trends worldwide on Twitter for a good 5 days then the hype just dies down. :( And I know it's still too early to call, but I'm pretty sure Berzerk won't be as big a single as Spacebound.

I agree about the song though. It's meh to me too. It's not as bad as My Band, Just Lose It, We Made You, but it doesn't even come remotely close to matching My Name Is, Real Slim Shady Without Me. The first verse is pretty good, though it starts off way better than it actually ends up being. The 2nd verse is okay, I get he's intended to be making fun of the way people are on there songs with all the noises and everything, but the only real good parts of this verse are the beginning and the end about the bozos being smart enough to feel stupid. Third verse again starts off alright, but goes down hill, and he completely ruined it with the toe jam line, that was straight whack.

I thought Welcome to Hell, Fast Lane, Loud Noises, Living Proof was some of the best Em sounded in recent memory. And even Above the Law/Echo, the girl chorus and shouting seemed to work on those. Hell The Sequel was the closest he's come to putting it all together, still had a big miss in Lighters and Take From Me though, which didn't fit and were underwhelming.

His rapping sounds lazy on Berzerk.

This site is for fans of Eminem. Not guys that think that ''Berzerk'' could potentially indicate something undesirable about the album. :facepalm

jk... I know everyone is entitled to their subjective opinions... but in all seriousness. I think Berzerk is a GOOD thing when speaking of it like it's a guaranteed indication of what's to come.

If we're lucky he won't be acting so serious like he was on Recovery.

We might get a playful Em... like the funny guy that wrote ''My fault'', ''Rain Man'', ''My First Single'' and ''Ass like that'' except without the shitty beats that made those songs suck.

We can only hope though... Actually, no... Shady won't disappoint.

The OP is worrying about nothing.

Can't tell if trolling....

Apart from My Fault, the beats were the best parts of all those songs....except I do actually like Rain Man....

Also, ^ Triple post haha

Rain Man is a funny song but should never have been an album song and that beat was kind of wasted.

Man Em would be such a good voice actor and could make some great children/comedy movies/albums haha. Hope he does something like that when he retires.......

Rain Man is funny...but not better than this song at all. Not by a long shot. He says he likes Rain Man and only calls this song okay.

EminemBase, why dont you take into account that Berzerk and Survival in MMLP2 are some kind of, lets say, Beautiful and Crack a Bottle in Relapse? I think you organize the funeral too early. I know, the production bugs you, but it's just the matter of taste. I dont see the production on Berzerk being messy, all around the place or whatever you call it.

I really really like the production on Berzerk. Other rockish beats he hops on are usually trash except his own beats. But this and Survival have great beats, at least to me. The Berzerk one is the better one out of the two.

Me too, I actually don't think it's THAT loud. It is a bit louder than I'd like, but I think it's an improvement. I'm hoping it's the noisiest beat on the album though (just like TRSS was the noisiest on MMLP).

Really? TRSS never came off as noisy to me at all. I'd say Kim was the noisiest on MMLP. As for Survival vs Berzerk, Berzerk wins hands down imo. Yeah it has a rock based beat (and I do wish he'd quit with the anthem/stadium rock sound), but compared to other rockfish songs like Survival or WBD, it seems more natural and less forced. Survival came off as corny to me. Berzerk, on the other hand, reminds me of Fight Music for some reason. Certainly not lyrically, just sound-wise.

I was just playing, guys. lol.

Kind of like last night when I was playing solitaire on my living room floor.

Except online... without cards... on my bathroom floor as opposed to my living room floor... interactively... & with an inferno of opinion crushing text fueled by the incorrect opinions of others.

I would have went out last night instead... but whenever I do that people call me things like ''Gay''... and ''Kill yourself you fucking registered sex offender. No little boys here for you.''

It usually causes me to feel enraged and then I end up drinking tequila & bourbon and beating the shit out of my cat.

Solo-voluntary-solitary-solitaire is my calling here.
