4Corners wrote:I think if he wants to recreate the MMLP formula, do the same with the features. Have a big single with a singer, like Stan was, have a "gangster rap" track with features (Bitch Please II), another one with two features that is basically just about anything and everything (Remember Me), a big group track where everyone is spittin' fire (Under the Influence), and another feature on a darker and aggressive track (Amityville).
The Stan like feature could be Jamie N Commons, which I think would be pretty dope depending on what song he picks. The Preacher would be a good one to sample.
The gangster rap features could be Dr Dre, than a few possibilities. MC Ren would be dope, had a good feature on Kendrick's album and Em shouted him out in Berzerk. I think 50 Cent could be a possibility still, it just has to be the right Dre produced track for 50 to sound dope on it.
The Remember Me like track or feature should have an odd mix much like that song did. Enter Yelawolf, who needs an Em album feature, and possibly......Tyler the Creator. I think Em, Yela, Tyler would make an interesting track.
The big group feature would obviously be Slaughterhouse, Session One and Loud Noises were both dope, Em always spits good stuff when he's spittin with them.
Than the darker toned song would be a BME song with Royce.
So that would be these features.....
Jamie N Commons
Yelawolf
Tyler the Creator
Royce da 5'9''
Dr Dre
50 Cent
MC Ren
Slaughterhouse
I think that'd be dope.

He also had possibly his 3 worst officially released songs ever though......Ass Like That, My First Single, and grand prize worst song ever Big Weenie. I can't believe someone actually was hearing Big Weenie in the studio and wasn't like "Yo Em, what the fuck is that shit, you CANNOT put that shit out". How the fuck did those 3 make the album and the 3 bonus ones didn't???
I'd like to think songs like Big Weenie and MFS were put on Encore as a verbal middle to the people who leaked We As Americans, etc.

Good look, though.Mr Shady wrote:I don't think that Jamie N Commons feature is true cause wasn't that suppose to be the first single? I could be wrong and he could have kept it on the album and just changed the first single, but who knows.
It could still possibly be true, but The Sun also claimed it would be one of the songs played during his shows.

I always found it surprising he didn't have other, quality songs to replace the leaks with. After all, there weren't many leaks.

Dido
Sticky Fingaz
RBX
Dr Dre
Snoop
Xzibit
Nate Dogg
D12
Bizarre
That's a lot.
Oh and if they ever attempt a Bitch Please III, they need to get Sly Jordan to sing the hook. Guy sounds pretty close to Nate Dogg, and was singing the hook on Fast Lane.
It's really not that much, four of those features were on one song. Two were on another. D12 obviously was on their own and Bizarre and Dido both did their thing.
Jimmy Conway wrote:I'd like for Treach to be on the album. Em had some pretty weak features on the first MMLP, one of the few negative things about the album, he could have strong features. Though 50 cent is rumored to be on it, so that's all ready hurting it.
Since he said "Now this shit's about to kick off, this party looks wack
Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch"
And has this beastie boy sound, how great would it be to get a classic MC on the album. Someone like treach.
